Şerif Okluoğlu began his professional career in 1996 as a Project Engineer in the heating, cooling and ventilation sector.
Between 1998 and 2016, he continued his career at Istanbul Gas Distribution Inc. (İGDAŞ) for 18 years, serving as a Project Approval and Control Engineer for residential and industrial facilities, and later held various managerial positions within the company.
In 2016, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of ELTEMTEK, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
From 2018 to August 2022, he served as General Manager of ELTEMTEK.
Between 2018 and 2022, he was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE).
He has also served as Vice Chairman, Board Member and Audit Committee Member in various professional and non-governmental organizations such as GÜNDER, TUREB, TESAB and ENVER.
He graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and completed his MBA in Business Administration at Bahçeşehir University.
As of September 2022, he has been serving as Deputy General Manager responsible for Strategy and Business Development at Kardemir A.Ş., and as of October 2025, he has also been appointed as Acting General Manager of the company.
