Muhammed Ali Oflaz, who currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board and General Manager of ELTEMTEK A.Ş., a subsidiary of TEİAŞ under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, held the position of Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources between December 2023 and September 2024. From 2019 to 2020, he served as Secretary General of the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA), responsible for the provinces of Zonguldak, Karabük, and Bartın. He also worked at the Ankara Development Agency in various departments as a specialist, Head of the Business Development and Strategy Unit, and Coordinator of the Investment Support Office. In 2010, he worked as a Tender Manager at the Central Finance and Contracts Unit of the Undersecretariat of Treasury, and between 2006 and 2010, he served at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, first at the General Directorate of Copyrights and Cinematography, and later at the General Directorate of Investments and Enterprises as a Culture and Tourism Specialist.
In 2006, Muhammed Ali Oflaz worked as Senior Advisor to the President at Öz İplik-İş Union, affiliated with Hak-İş Confederation, and between 2004 and 2006, he was active in the private sector in the field of internet technologies.
He graduated from Gazi University, Department of Business Administration, in 2004, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Industrial Policies and Technology Management Program at Istanbul Commerce University. He has an advanced command of English and a beginner-level knowledge of Arabic and Russian.
