Between 2018 and 2019, Kamil Güleç served as Chairman of the Board of Kardemir A.Ş., and between 1995 and 2017 as Deputy Chairman of the Board. He is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Çağ Çelik A.Ş. Until 1995, he was President of the Karabük Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and during the privatization process of Karabük Iron and Steel Factories, he also served as Chairman of the Entrepreneurial Committee.
In 1978–1979, after completing his investment, Kamil Güleç commissioned his own hot rolling mill, and in the 1980s, with the beginning of export initiatives, he started the production of light commercial bars.
Due to his significant social responsibility projects (Güleç Sevgi Evleri and Kamil Güleç Library), he was awarded the “Outstanding Service Award” by the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 2010.
Kamil Güleç graduated in 1969 from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science, Department of Industrial Management and Economics.
