Linear Metal Siirt Zinc Smelting Plant, which will produce Turkey's first zinc ingots, was inaugurated by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Our company, which includes 3,000 tons of steel fabrication and assembly works for the facility whose construction was completed in Siirt, once again reiterated the title of "Factory Establishing Factories" with this completed project.
At the opening in Siirt Organized Industrial Zone, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that it is the biggest investment ever made in the region, and that the zinc facility, which was established with a Turkish-Qatar partnership at a cost of 102 million dollars, has the capacity to meet almost half of the zinc need, which we are completely dependent on foreign sources for. .
Thanks to the facility, where approximately 3,000 people will be employed directly and indirectly, our country will save nearly half a billion dollars in current account deficit.
